How do you convince staff that are already entering metadata in one system (Traffic, Gracenote, etc.) to add an additional system to their workflow?
You could explain to them that this isn't actually new work--they're already doing it. It's all information that they are collecting already, it's simply a new endpoint. The most effective way to achieve content discovery is to get the data entered into EIDR at least two months prior to air. At that point, it's typically only the publicist or the producer who has all of the information.
